We founded Monaliza Yachts with a single conviction: that an afternoon on the Arabian Gulf should be among the defining experiences of a life well-lived. More than a decade later, that belief has taken 10,000+ guests to sea.
A Vision at Sea
Monaliza Yachts was founded in 2010 by a small team of maritime professionals who believed that Dubai's extraordinary natural harbour — one of the most sheltered, beautiful, and historically rich coastlines in the Arabian Gulf — was being underutilised. The city's luxury hospitality was world-class on land. On water, the standard was dramatically lower: aged vessels, inexperienced crews, and a transactional attitude to what should have been a transformative experience. We saw the gap and we sailed into it.
Beginning with just two carefully selected vessels berthed in Dubai Marina, we built a reputation for precisely what we had promised: pristine yachts, licensed and professionally trained crew, and a philosophy of hospitality borrowed not from the charter industry, but from the finest hotels in the world. Word spread quickly. By 2012 our fleet had grown to eight vessels, and we had signed our first corporate charter contracts with major organisations operating in the DIFC financial district.
Today, Monaliza Yachts operates a fleet of 15 vessels ranging from 40-foot sport yachts to the 150-foot Monaliza AK superyacht — the largest private charter vessel operating from Dubai Marina. We hold full DTCM certification (Dubai's official Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing licensing), are fully insured to international maritime standards, and maintain a crew-to-guest ratio that would be the envy of any boutique hotel. We have served over 10,000 guests from 80+ countries, have earned more than 850 five-star reviews across Google and TripAdvisor, and have been named one of Dubai's top 10 tourist experiences. We remain, as we always have been, a company defined by a simple ambition: to make the sea extraordinary.
